Gaining Russian Citizenship May Take 10 Years, With New Changes Proposed by Russian Lawmakers
Abstract
Duma Deputies of the LDPR party propose to increase the requirements for obtaining Russian citizenship. People who are truly ready to connect their lives with Russia will be able to apply for it: by working for its benefit, by serving in the army, or by raising children in a strong family. Parliamentarians submitted a corresponding bill to the State Duma on March 5.
