More of the suicidal sameness from southern Ukraine. This is not to say I reject out of hand the possibility of a reversal - it looks to me that the west may have smuggled in more advanced western weapons and other materiel than we have given it credit for to date. The large numbers of HIMARS and Storm Shadows that the Ukraine is firing on Russian positions may testify to that possibility even if Russia is shooting the majority (75%) of them down. But,so far, Ukraine has not even come close to the many kilometers-deep of Russian fortifications. And their original plans presumed an early advantage on the basis of some form of “shock and awe” psychological gambit (i.e. Belgorod), the time for which has clearly passed.
