SS IN BRITAIN for Network ITV (January 2001) In 1947 the British Government brought an entire division of the Nazi SS to live in Britain, 8000 Ukrainians of the 14th SS Division Galizien. Some 1500 are still living here in 2001. Although they claimed never to have committed war crimes, for the first time, this film provided concrete detailed evidence of their involvement in terrible atrocities. As a result of this investigation questions were put down in Parliament, Scotland Yard set up an inquiry in the UK, and a similar investigation was established in Poland.
