“In today's #vatniksoup and another edition of "You pronounced this nonsense, not me", I'll go through some of the most common pro-Russian claims and tropes. I have discussed these in previous soups, but I feel like this type of general collection would be a helpful resource. 1/23”

The "Workers' Cause Party" cult functions as the perfect example of those disinformation agents that are waging the latest Hybrid War on Brazil to cover up for President Lula's US-aligned foreign policy due to its self-appointed role as his gatekeepers/inquisitors. Its official newspaper shamelessly flipped from condemning the then-proposal for Brazil to host hundreds of the US’ regime change agents that were expelled from Nicaragua as a CIA-backed imperialist plot to fiercely defending this policy after Lula promulgated it and condemning its critics as imperialist agents.

Please look at the pictures of the tattooed inmates of El Salvador’s new 40,000-bed mega-prison, which according to its President will house them for “decades and decades.” But wait, don’t look at them yet. First decide to see the pictures without political opinion, reasoning, or judgment of any kind. Don’t worry, I’m not trying to depoliticize you. Just for a minute, suspend the mental machinery that produces outrage (or righteousness, or numbness).

The Indonesian mass killings of 1965-1966 is a tragic chapter in Indonesia's history that is not well-known outside of the country. In this video, we will dive deep into this dark period and explore the factors that led to it, as well as the CIA's involvement, particularly through the US ambassador, Marshall Green. The mass killings began in the aftermath of an attempted coup against the Indonesian government in September 1965. The military, led by General Suharto, swiftly took control and launched a brutal crackdown on suspected communist sympathizers, the PKI. Over the next year, between 500,000 to 2 million people were killed, mostly innocent civilians who were accused of being communists or communist sympathizers. The role of the CIA in the mass killings is a contentious issue, but it is widely believed that the agency played a significant role in supporting Suharto's regime. Marshall Green,an ambassador, was stationed in Indonesia at the time and provided support to Suharto's government, including weapons, funding and dossiers on PKI members. The CIA's involvement was clearly about maintaining its own power and influence in the country but regardless of the reasons behind the CIA's involvement, the impact of the mass killings on Indonesia's society and politics has been profound. The trauma and scars of this dark period still resonate in the country today, and many Indonesians are still seeking justice and accountability for the atrocities that were committed. In this video, we will use archival footage and historical documents to shed light on the Indonesian mass killings of 1965-1966 and the CIA's role in this tragic chapter in Indonesia's history.
